jacki tiso

Jaqueline M. Tiso


Jacqueline is a frequent speaker on financial management and Cloud (SaaS) technology and is regularly called upon for her expertise by the media and as a conference speaker. Several years ago, JMT Consulting (Axiom parent company) migrated most of its internal systems to the Cloud, and after experiencing the benefits of these systems, Jacki has been a leading proponent of Cloud systems for non-profits ever since. Jacqueline has received national recognition with the Technology Pacesetter award in Accounting Today, a Var 100 member, as well as being featured on the cover of Accounting Technology.

JMT continues to be the leading partner for back office systems, annually receiving awards including Abila Presidents Circle, Intacct President’s Club, and Sage’s President’s Circle and Chairman’s Club. Jacqueline has over twenty-five years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Prior to founding JMT Consulting Group, she was CFO and Comptroller for a number of nonprofit organizations. She has assisted nonprofit organizations with all financial aspects of their business from accounting services and technology to high-level management and board consulting. Jacqueline continues to serve on a number of nonprofit boards and committees in support of their efforts to make a difference in the world.

Tom Thornton


Tom brings over 20 years of experience with software solutions for not-for-profit and public sector organizations as part of Micro Information Products, Sage and nFocus Software. Tom’s extensive industry and operational experience allow him to guide the overall execution of all aspects of Axiom’s business including marketing, sales, delivery and support.

In addition to his experience in professional services, sales, and business development with software solutions, Tom was Director of Product Management for Sage Software, where he was responsible for new product development for all of their nonprofit accounting and fundraising solutions. Under Thornton’s leadership, Sage MIP Fund Accounting received three consecutive Campbell Awards recognizing MIP’s extremely high user satisfaction.


Robert Johnson


For over 25 years Rob has been helping businesses develop their sales and marketing departments. Prior to joining JMT, Rob served as CRO for several organizations, developing overall go to market strategy and spearheading growth. Previously, Rob spent nearly 15 years leading sales and channel organizations for Avalara, Sage, and Timberline.

He brings his vast experience to lead JMT’s sales and marketing organization. When not at work, Rob is a busy triathlete; involved in a variety of missions; has a large and growing family; is an avid reader.

Carole Turnyanszki


Carole has been with JMT Consulting since 2003 and is responsible for anything related to JMT’s focus on extraordinary client services and communication. Before entering her leadership position as the Chief Experience Officer, Carole served in several other roles across JMT and gained a unique perspective on how each department’s functions contribute to the overall success of a client’s experience. In her current role, Carole is responsible for managing and supporting a dedicated team of client-serving employees, optimizing the client lifetime journey, and developing a robust feedback loop that ensures clients’ needs are being heard and met. Carole’s previous experience within nonprofit organizations makes her the ideal advocate for JMT clients and enables her to engage with them as a trusted advisor focused on their continued success.

Prior to joining the JMT team, Carole spent ten years as a buyer, giving her a unique understanding and perspective of a client’s needs and viewpoint. Carole has also served as Treasurer for several local nonprofit organizations and remains active in her local community.

Max Lapping


Max joined JMT Consulting in 2019 as the Director of Finance. Max leads the overall financial strategy and direction at JMT Consulting. He guides the finance, treasury, accounting and tax functions and develops company policy in pursuit of the company’s aggressive growth strategy. Prior to joining JMT Consulting, Max was the Director of FP&A and Controller at Inspire MD, Inc., a publicly traded biotech company. He also served in a variety of roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and RSM McGladrey.

Max is a licensed CPA and graduated with honors from The University of Baltimore. When not at work, Max enjoys traveling with his family.

Tony Reid


As the Director of Human Resources, Tony is responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership for all aspects of the human resources function while establishing a vision and direction for the core human capital programs, policies, and services. This includes providing leadership and direction in the development of HR policies that promote maximum effectiveness in the JMT workforce while supporting the JMT mission and vision. Tony has previously served as a Human Resources professional in small to large size organizations in food services, healthcare, financial services, and energy.

Holding a Master’s in Business from Austin Peay State University, Tony is a stalwart proponent of team members having a learning spirit to further propel development in their career goals. An avid reader, Tony has a sizeable library of business books and includes Dr. Ken Blanchard, Brian Tracy, and Patrick Lencioni among his favorite authors.

Clare Field


Clare joined the Axiom Cemetery Management team in 2000.  Her education is in Accounting and she loves to help clients solve their business challenges, not just in accounting, but across the board in Cemetery Management, too.  Clare has spent many years working in implementation and education, which included making the move to the United States for three years while conducting numerous Cemetery Management implementations throughout New York, Cincinnati and Erie, among others.  What greater way to get an understanding of the issues faced by cemeteries, than to live and breathe it with them.  Since returning to Australia, Clare has expanded into Project Management, successfully managing CMS, CRM, Accounting and Mapping implementations for numerous clients. 

She now leads the Operations Team to deliver implementations to not just cemeteries, but also accounting implementations in various industries.  Clare believes in providing the utmost customer service, always looking for opportunities for improvement and believes this puts our team in good stead to deliver the best experience for your organization.  

Joel Wright


As Solutions Consultant, Joel works with current and prospective clients to explore and identify inefficiencies that can be solved by various modules available in Axiom’s Cemetery Management Suite. He also works with nonprofit organizations through JMT Consulting to deliver powerful software systems like Sage Intacct, Vena, AvidXchange, and other financial management solutions.

Prior to joining JMT Consulting, Joel worked for Ameriflex (a national Third Party Administrator of employer-sponsored benefits) as VP of Enterprise Sales and National Accounts. Joel is an avid golfer in his spare time, at least was, until the recent arrival of his newborn son.
